You’re welcome to call or text for an exact quote, but here are the general fees for our notarial services. Hill Sign complies fully with all State of California regulations on notarial acts.
Most general notary services are priced per notarized signature.

Appointment Hours & After-Hours Service

After Hours: 8:00PM & Later
Hill Sign Mobile Notary offers appointments seven days a week, subject to availability. Standard appointment hours are 8:00 AM through 7:59 PM. Weekend appointments are available at the regular travel/dispatch rate of $40 and do not incur an additional weekend surcharge.
Appointments scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM or later are considered after-hours appointments and are subject to an additional $40 after-hours fee. In the standard service area, this brings the regular $40 travel/dispatch fee to $80.
Early-morning appointments may also be available by special arrangement and may be subject to an after-hours fee.
Printing Service
For general notary customers who need documents printed for their mobile notary appointment, we offer document printing as a convenience. Printing of up to 10 pages is included with your regular notary service. If your document is longer, additional pages can be printed for a nominal per-page charge.
Documents can be sent to us in advance as PDF files by email. We can also print select government forms upon request, including forms that require notarization, provided the form is available for us to print before the appointment.

Shipping Service
For general notary customers who need completed documents mailed or shipped after their appointment, we can handle delivery to the carrier as an added convenience. Shipping rates include postage, packaging when needed, and carrier drop-off.
This service is especially helpful if you are hiring Hill Sign Mobile Notary from outside the Placer County area to have someone’s signature notarized locally and need the completed documents shipped back to you promptly.

Appointments Outside Our Core Service Area
Hill Sign Mobile Notary regularly serves Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Loomis and Penryn. Appointments outside this core service area are also available, subject to availability, with additional travel charges based on the location, distance, and travel time involved.
Just provide the appointment location when contacting us, and we’ll give you a custom travel quote before the appointment is booked.
$0 Signature-Fee Notarizations
Hill Sign is also able to take care of your Notarizations that California law sets at $0 for signature fees. These include signature on vote by mail ballot identification envelopes and other election materials, as well as Military Veteran Benefits/Pension Forms. For full details, consult California Government Code 8211. Please note that a charge for travel still applies and volume of notarizations will need to fit within the appointment time slot. If a longer appointment time is needed, that can be negotiated.
Journal Item Copy Requests
Please submit all journal copy requests in writing as required by California Government Code (specifying the parties, document type, and month/year). We will respond within 15 business days to confirm the item’s existence, verify delivery costs, and provide payment links. Please include a phone number or email address for our response.
Estate Plan Signing
Professional signing services are available for attorney-prepared estate plans conducted at professional office locations within the Roseville, Rocklin, and Lincoln area.

Certified Signing Agent Services
Pricing for real estate and loan signing appointments is customized based on the scope of the assignment, signing location, document package, and any additional requirements. Rates are discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking so that the quoted fee reflects the actual work required for the assignment.
If you are contacting Hill Sign Mobile Notary for the first time, please provide enough information for us to prepare an accurate quote. Helpful details include the type of signing (buyer, seller, refinance, HELOC, loan modification, etc.), the date and time of the appointment, signing location, number of signers, approximate package size and number of print sets required, whether scanbacks are required, and any other special instructions or requirements.
Please also let us know if documents will be provided electronically for printing, whether a prepaid return shipping label will be supplied, and if there are any special delivery or drop-off requirements after the signing.
Cancellation and No Show
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid fees. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur 50% of the travel fee; cancellations within 2 hours or no-shows may incur the full travel fee.
If you cannot sign due to refusal or inability, the travel fee is still due. We understand emergencies happen and will work with you to reschedule when possible.
